About SheafSupportedHousing

Our Philosophy

At Sheaf Supported Housing (SSH), our mission is to empower individuals to (re)integrate into society by providing not just accommodation—but genuine support that fosters lasting change. We deliver safe, stable housing alongside personalised, outcome-driven support plans that address both immediate challenges and long-term aspirations. Our vision is to see every individual become an engaged, resilient, and independent member of their community. SSH is your bridge to a better future—with us, you're never just a number.

We work with a wide range of people including:

Individuals facing homelessness

Refugees and asylum seekers

Prison leavers and those on probation

People experiencing mental health difficulties

Survivors of domestic abuse and trafficking

People with physical disabilities

Adults at risk and care leavers

Many of those we support have been failed by the system—navigating trauma, social exclusion, housing breakdown, and barriers to education, work, or family life. At SSH, we understand that a safe home is just the start.

We’re a team of genuinely experienced professionals, with over 20 years of combined frontline work supporting homeless and vulnerable adults. We’ve had enough of seeing unsupported providers with no background in homelessness trying to profit from the sector without understanding the people in it. SSH is here to raise the standard.

We work closely with local charities, shelters, and community partners to make sure our service is informed, connected, and accountable. Our approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and always driven by what our clients need and deserve—not box-ticking or quick fixes.
